When several electric vehicles charge at the same time
Load balancing is required to manage the risk of overload in the local power grid when many vehicles charge simultaneously. In the event of overload, the system automatically communicates with charging stations to lower the charging current or temporarily turn off the charging completely.
Prioritization of key equipment
With our load balancing solution, you can relatively easily instruct the system as to which technical equipment should be prioritized if the charging current has to be lowered. For example, in a parking garage with many ongoing charges, lighting and elevators can be prioritized.
Easy to install in the property
The system measures the service that enters the property and controls the power outlets in the charging stations. All our solution needs to know is the size of the main fuse for the property in order to ensure the stability of the property grid.

With our load balancing for your home to CHARGESTORM CONNECTED, you not have to worry that the main fuse will trip. The power of the charger will automatically be set at no risk for overload. With CHARGESTORM CONNECTED, you can make an option with a load balancing feature at home. The solution means that an additional energy meter is mounted on incoming feed. This energy meter is wired to the charging station’s control board.
When the load balancing is activated, it automatically works and the car’s charge is adjusted and optimized all the time, depending on how much power the house draws. Our load balancing solution protects your home’s power grid from overload while providing efficient charging.

RFID tags provide a very easy and effective way of controlling who can charge and on which outlet. CHARGE PORTAL allows you to manage users and any RFID tags associated with users. Statistics are stored in the CHARGE PORTAL regarding charging time, energy consumed, etc. This data can then be exported as required.
If a tag were to be lost it is no problem – the serial number can easily be deleted in the CHARGE PORTAL and replaced with a new tag. Sure sounds easy, doesn’t it? RFID tags can be ordered directly with our charging stations that support RFID.
“Taking Charge” – Control your EV charger via mobile phone
We think it should be easy to charge your electric car, with our EV charger app this will be the reality! With a simple and user-friendly app, you can schedule charging, view history and set current and power in real time. In order for you to be able to access our free app as an individual, you must have an CHARGESTORM CONNECTED 2 with ethernet or 3G (option) internet connection.
With our app you can do the following:
– Scheduling – Start/Stop – History, data and software update – Set current and charging power in real time – Tag management (RFID) – Selection of LED-brightness on the Wallbox – See power for active charging session
